Who has access to Qualtrics?

All SJNY faculty, staff, and students have access to SJNY Qualtrics.

How do I access Qualtrics?

Qualtrics is linked to your SJNY login credentials. Log in to Qualtrics here using your SJNY login.

Who do I contact for support with Qualtrics?

For support with using Qualtrics, visit Qualtrics Support here. This site provides an abundance of support resources. If prompted to sign in to watch a video, click Sign in with SSO and enter SJCNY for the organization ID.

How do I create a survey in Qualtrics?

Log in to SJNY Qualtrics using your SJNY credentials. Click the "Create new project" button that is located on the top right corner. Qualtrics provides the option to start a survey from scratch or to use one of their templates. Click here for further instruction.

What question types does Qualtrics provide?

Qualtrics provides various question types, including multiple-choice, text entry, matrix table, slider, etc. Click here for information regarding the different question types.

Can I apply logic to my surveys in Qualtrics?

Qualtrics provides various logic functions, such as display logic and skip logic. Click here for information regarding using logic.

How do I share my survey with other members of my department?

When you log in to SJNY Qualtrics, all of your surveys will be listed. Identify which survey you would like to share. Click the ellipsis that is located to the far right of the survey name and then click collaborate. Type the user(s) email address that you would like to share the survey with and click save. How do I backup my surveys?

Qualtrics is only available to current faculty, staff, and students so you should backup your surveys and data regularly. To find out how to export your survey(s), click here. Exported Qualtrics survey files (.qsf) can be uploaded to a different Qualtrics account. To find out how to export your response data, click here. To protect your survey participants, exported data should be de-identified and/or kept in a password-protected file or drive.
